The installed bars are rock solid, so no complaints there. My only complaint is with the instructions. My bars came with 8 rubber inserts (4 larger, 4 smaller). NOWHERE in the instructions were these inserts illustrated or mentioned. It was only after my first attempt at installation, when the bars were secured, but the area around the clamps didn’t quite look right, that I realized the rubber inserts fit inside the clamps and are what are actually in contact with the roof rails. This simple detail cost me about 20 minutes, uninstalling the bars, inserting the rubber inserts, and reinstalling the bars. I think it’s possible that some people might just think the rubber inserts are extra or were shipped by accident and not use them. And yes, I did go to the video link, which ALSO fails to illustrate or explain what the rubber pieces are for. The instructions really need a good overhaul (the illustration showing where to put the small piece that serves as anti-theft protection was useless, but I figured it out). That said, assembly and installation were not rocket science, and I’m very satisfied with the finished product.
